Sunday saw the uber stylist/designer Rachel Zoe come to Selfridges London. The lady herself was beautiful and effortlessly groomed, every inch from her honey highlights to her lash extentions were sleek. She wore the most to die for ivory sequin blazer, black pussybow sheer blouse, black flares and towering platforms, a complete glamazon. She exuded style and LA glamour.
The session began by a Talk with Marie Claire Style Editor and Miss Zoe in the private setting of Selfridges intimate exhibition room. The room was immersed with the most exuberant scented Diptyque candels and freshened by a spherical vase of pure white roses. The talk itself was both warm and enlightening. Zoe is full of life, possitivity, carisma and charm. If you were lucky enough to live in LA this is who you would want as your best friend. She is a clear headed business woman happy to offer honest advise about the industry and style/dressing without an sprinkle of patronization. She meets the happy balance between up-most professionalism and using her friendly unique personality as an advantage in her work . Her passion for style fills every part of her it almost glows, the more she spoke the more you wanted to be part of Zoe's world. I could not praise Miss Zoe any more; a talented stylist and designer (her new Rachel Zoe Collection is amaze!), an inspiring woman and an encouraging professional.
After the Marie Claire talk was an opportunity to meet Rachel one on one aswell as getting your Marie Claire Issue signed (it was the only paper in the Selfridges goodie bag!). I enjoyed the chance to have a one on one chat if only for a couple of minutes with Rachel and even made the lady herself giggle which made afternoon.
Rachel Zoe is fashion gold and we can all learn alot from her professionally and more important personally. I for one will continue to champion her and am glad for the opportunity to meet such an empowering, stylish and individual woman.
