Twinkle List

As the Christmas season sneaks up faster than a frosty Saint Nick on Christmas Eve we wanted to give you our one-hit-want-list of all the festive delights we want to get our glittery mitts on. A list of beauty, lust, brilliant shine and indulgence. The little wonders that we would happily recieve this festive time of year. While we are already struggling with the 'buy one for them, two for me' purchasing habits the shops tempt us with in December, a girl simply can’t buy all her own presents. We have worked hard all year, dressed well, had fun, ploughed through the drama surely a little few pleasures wouldn’t go a miss.

Money Can Buy You Style

Glorious sunshine like this prompts the age old question of how to dress for work when it is so god damn hot? As much as we would love to lounge around in beach attire checking our emails, work is work and a professional job requires a suitably professional chic wardrobe to compliment it. This week we have found the ultimate outfit for office chic in incredible heat. A lightweight bold stripe top, lengthy flowing maxi complimented with a coral and diamante necklace a la Topshop to pull the look together and keep it contemporary. Ideally we would want to be accessorizing this look with the latest glossy monthlies and a can of Malibu and pinapple but don't think that would go down too well at the office, we may have to save that for the weekend in the sun.

We had been longing to lock eyes on this visual feast of fusha pleasure for several years now. The iconic hot pink concrete structure was the brightest most vibrant pink we have ever seen in real life. So rich in colour, so cutting edge, modernist meets minimalist, it is a concept store at its best. Every visit to Melrose must be met with a visit to this barbie box paradise.

Money Can Buy You Style

This is not the kind of weather a girl dreams for on a friday afternoon, musky grey skies and a wind machine effect breeze, where are the relaxed, sunshine enduced summer evenings we have come to expect of May? If we were still in LA we bet we would be able to wear this weeks Money Can Buy You Style ensomble, perhaps for post work drinks in Santa Monica. We can't believe how unbelievably LA the Charlotte Olypia clutch is. Perhaps we should start packing our bags, West Cali bound once more, if only to wear summer chic outfits like the one below on a night like tonight.

Sprinkles, LA

Sprinkles is a little slice of Los Angeles fun. From their hot pink neon sign to mouth moistening array of sweet temptations we have nothing but love for Sprinkles. Placed beautifully in Beverly Hills, only a diamond throw away from Rodeo Drive, this is a cupcake specialist with a modern, energising, fashion forward twist. Whats more it is home to the worlds first cupcake ATM, offering cupcake groupies the opportunity to purchase a taste of Sprinkles heaven any time of day or night at the touch of the button. We even heard that cues extend beyond the block some evening around 2am! The cupcake we sampled was one of the best our youthful palette has tasted and we even got a Sprinkles branded water bottle which has now become our gym staple. We were also a little bit obsessed with the multicoloured stripes that make Sprinkles and their innovative cupcake ATM iconic.

Watermelon Fox goes to LA

We have been holding onto a little secret. A secret that has been bursting out of us like a blinding ray of Californian sunshine. Watermelon Fox is of to Los Angeles! We could not be more excited about the trip and what we are sure will be two of the most amazing, exciting and fun loving weeks of our lives.
The Los Angeles to do list has grown and developed at such a speed, we just hope we have time to visit all the glam hot spots and cultural must sees. We will of course be sharing an on slaught of posts about the vacay on our return.
First things first, we have to talk wardrobe! We have had such fun styling and packing for the fail safe sunshine of Cali. What a rewarding treat to be packing bikini's, distressed denim cut offs, summer skirts and sunglasses. How we are meant to edit down such a wardrobe into a travel worthy suitcase is yet to be discovered. Looks like there shall be lots of suitcase squeezing to be achieved. Our plan is to put together a wardrobe diary from our trip to share with you on our return, so you can spot our every LA outfit from wherever you are.
LA Life, we know we were built for warmer climates than Windsor and we have a feeling Los Angeles life is going to be completely up our street! The roof top city bars, the shops, the star homes tour, the restaurants. We are also majorly excited for our week beach bound exploring the sexy joys of Santa Monica and what we know is going to be our personal fave, Venice beach.
So until our return, wish us the most fabulous of journeys. We can't wait to share with you every glam happening from the trip and to bring the LA experience to you!

We are the first to admit it, blogging has taken a lazy backseat while the apartment transformation and nesting has been in full swing. We look forward to sharing pics of the fabulous flat transformation in the coming weeks, we could not be more in love with the results that have been achieved. Apartment Inspiration

We created this vision board to capture the visual identity and ambiance we wanted to create for our first apartment. We created this board months ago just after the glistening keys entered our lives, only to stumble back across it when the finishing tweaks are being made to the abode. We cannot believe how true our interiors have stuck to this original vision. Elements such as the crystal finales, Parisian lamp, candles, star napkin rings, stag head and Molton Brown duo's have been taken very literally. We cannot wait to share photo's of the ultra feminine palace with you in the coming weeks.

New Apartment

We simply can’t keep it a secret anymore. We could not be prouder to announce we are now the owner of our first home. We are overwhelmingly excited about the move into our first apartment. We have been spanking many a late evening glued to our computer screens looking at endless Pinterest pages for inspiration. We have raided years worth of Elle Décor, spent hours scouring the internet for ideas, read every furniture/home catalogue cover to cover and spent afternoons up and down homewear stores across Greater London. We are newly born décor enthusiasts.

We could not be more excited about the move on a personal level, but with it comes the excitement of the visuals, the cosmetics, the interior. This is only our first sweet abode, but it will be ours to put our kiss of personal taste on. Ours and ours alone. Our independent, personally developed, fashion forward little abode.

We have just a few weeks to get our shit together and get the apartment ready to house our stylish selves. We have already been getting our manicure messy painting, decorating and getting stuck in with all the other glamourous duties that come with sorting your first apartment. Something’s will take more time understandably such as refurbishing a perfectly fine bathroom to my acquired taste, but it will be something to work towards and a luxury that can wait. We cannot wait to share with you our glam little flat when it is Watermelon Fox ready.

Twinkle List

It is officially that time of year again, time for the annual Watermelon Fox Twinkle list. A list of wonderous goodies we would love santa to slip in our stockings for Christmas 2012. The list hosts a mixture of beauties we would love to enter our lives this December. It wouldn't be a Watermelon Fox Twinkle List without the ever present scented candles; this years favourite the new Jo Malone Sweet Almond and Macaroon, a pure after hours treat. Enjoy the collection of perfection and lets hope we didn't make it onto the Naughty List so these delights can be ours.
