It is fair to say the past four months I have found my love of luxuriously rich scented candels from Jo Malone to Lily Flame I cannot get enough of high quality flavourful room changing joys. My current must have, Coconut Grove by Lily Flame. The scent is such a rich, warming smell that in theory should evoke thoughts of tropical beaches but instead oozes soothing, feminine tranquility. Lily Flame candels are my winter weakness. Their scents are so full that they flirt their way through the entire room leaving a lingering kiss of frangrance for at least 24 hours. These stong, powerful candels in the most delicious variants work hard and are well worth their price tag. While I may be currently enjoying Coconut Grove I shall definatly be investing in some autumnal and winter scents to fill the darker seasons. I think I shall be experimenting with Cranberry Crush, Christmas Spice and Mistletoe Kisses.

The Rachel Zoe Report
Sunday saw the uber stylist/designer Rachel Zoe come to Selfridges London. The lady herself was beautiful and effortlessly groomed, every inch from her honey highlights to her lash extentions were sleek. She wore the most to die for ivory sequin blazer, black pussybow sheer blouse, black flares and towering platforms, a complete glamazon. She exuded style and LA glamour.
The session began by a Talk with Marie Claire Style Editor and Miss Zoe in the private setting of Selfridges intimate exhibition room. The room was immersed with the most exuberant scented Diptyque candels and freshened by a spherical vase of pure white roses. The talk itself was both warm and enlightening. Zoe is full of life, possitivity, carisma and charm. If you were lucky enough to live in LA this is who you would want as your best friend. She is a clear headed business woman happy to offer honest advise about the industry and style/dressing without an sprinkle of patronization. She meets the happy balance between up-most professionalism and using her friendly unique personality as an advantage in her work . Her passion for style fills every part of her it almost glows, the more she spoke the more you wanted to be part of Zoe's world. I could not praise Miss Zoe any more; a talented stylist and designer (her new Rachel Zoe Collection is amaze!), an inspiring woman and an encouraging professional.
After the Marie Claire talk was an opportunity to meet Rachel one on one aswell as getting your Marie Claire Issue signed (it was the only paper in the Selfridges goodie bag!). I enjoyed the chance to have a one on one chat if only for a couple of minutes with Rachel and even made the lady herself giggle which made afternoon.
Rachel Zoe is fashion gold and we can all learn alot from her professionally and more important personally. I for one will continue to champion her and am glad for the opportunity to meet such an empowering, stylish and individual woman.

Money Can Buy You Style
It definatly feels like the summer has passed at a faster pase than Hurrican Irene. I don't want the summer months to end and feel that we have been cheated out of the righteous sun that always graces our skin in September before the cooler Autumnal months arrive. I have only just enjoyed my summer vacation so for it to all of a sudden be a completely new season is very surreal. I feel that it is time to retire the wish lists of summer items and start looking to the season ahead but before we do that find below one last Money Can Buy You Style of my summer dreams. A laid back summer outfit worthy of an afternoon wasted away in a pub garden. Now where is that sun?

Vogue Fashion Night Out
Thursday saw the third annual Vogue Fashion Night Out held in Fashion Capitals across the globe. My highlights of the night in London were to be found mainly on Bruton Street. Matthew Williamson was a joy as ever and my favourite by far, with a great house DJ, surrounded by the most fabulous bedazzled dresses and in the company of Matthew himself. The Stella Mc Cartney store which never fails impress on VFNO hosted a branded popcorn stand, Vogue badges, dancers and ad campaign cut out. Another huge hit for the night was Harvey Nichols which was alive with an old skool carnival theme. We stocked up on coconut cocktails in recycled Cadburies milk bottles, filled up on Mr Wippy 99's served by a man sporting an in character oversized moustache all topped off with games such as pin the pony on Karl. Classic fashion fun.
However this year Vogue Fashion Night Out wasn't all fun and games, many of the stores had rediculously long cues to even get past the door leaving many a fashionista standing on the doorsteps like lemons. My friends and I refused to cue for anywhere as this is not what the experience is about but it did mean I missed a rather special visit to Mulberry.Vogues Fashion Night Out 2011 was oversaturated and was far too commercial. The event this year lacked the luster which had made the event known amongst my friend and I as Fashion Christmas.
I do plan on attending the event next September and hope that the event goes back to its usual Vogue standard. Despite my critical opinion of the event I should note that my friends and I all enjoyed the night full of fashion, fun and fabulousness.

Money Can Buy You Style
So I am still dreaming of Moroccan style, the colours, the patterns all dripping with gold. My recent trip has taught me that I am definatly built for warmer climates so dressing for warmer weather is on the brain. I wish I had been able to take this beautiful Tara Matthews maxi dress on holiday, I would even wear this long wonder in London with a leather jacket (weather permitting of course). I can see myself now swanning around all bronzed skin and blonde hair, Moroccan sun setting off the sparking gold embellishment at the waist. I am still in holiday fashion mode, but with an outfit like this taking on my wednesday thoughts its going to be difficult to start thinking about next season.

Moroccan Princess
It is official, Morocco is beautiful. Having recently spent a very pleasurable week in the Middle Eastern wonder, I could not sing the country nor my holiday's praises any higher. Visually, Morocco is everything I expected it to be and did not disappoint in the style stakes.I love the continuity of the aesthetic which can be found from the most lavish of restaurants to the smallest of hotels hidden away in the center of Marrakesh Djamma El Fna. Morocco is engrossed in the most amazing hand made mosaic star designs and most colour rich reflective stained glass. I also fell for the in door fountain novalty found in most restaurants in Morocco with the soothing sound of running water often adorned with blusing rose petals. Not to mention the most gorgeous silver Moroccan tea sets. Below is an array of things that inspired me on my break.
The fashion style I adopted for the trip was a mix of colourful evening pieces including a burnt Moroccan red, sunburst orange and ocean teal. I decorated my bronzed skin with luscious gold accessories in the evening with nude heels and wedges. When venturing into the hussle and bussle of Marrakesh I wisely opted for conservative maxi skirts and varying my hair from an oversized bun to a long flowing platt as to not encourage any unwanted attention. All that is left to be said is that Moroccan style from the decor to the gardens to the water features are unrivaled. Both dressing for Morocco and playing in Morocco were brilliant fun. Pencil yourself in a trip as soon as possible.
