Utterly Addicted

If Dior Addict were a dress it would be a proud body conscious number, all short hemlines and heavy raspberry velvet. I lust for this wickedly delicious scent which has been my seasonal flavor of choice for around six cold winters.I am yet to meet anyone irresistible to this scent, it is an ageless universal scent. It is a scent that brings compliments from both young, old and genders alike, nobody can resist the charm of Dior Addict. I could not praise this scent or the emotions it evokes more. This scent is everything I love and the only scent I have ever worn that brings out such an intense feeling from inside. As a perfume, Addict is rich, dark and completely irresistible on every level. Produced as a delectable concoction of Queen of the Night Flower and smoky Vanilla, the combination of which is highly exhilarating. It’s heavy, rich and pleasurable. Never has a scent smelt so glamorous. For me this is the perfect winter scent and one that will grace my every winter attire for many years to come.

Say My Name

Liberty's designer vintage room is a treasure chest of luxurious timeless items. We have spend many an hour playing dress up in this playful suite and have even been known to encourage the staff to bring out the secret stash of rare hidden Chanel. On a recent trip we spotted this naughty number. Karl who? I don't know if it belonged in the vintage section or was simply put amongst the designer pieces for its sheer fabulousness. But who could resist this whimsical bag full of sweet fashion and charm?

Living like a model

This weekend, we went and explored the Britain and Irelands Next Top Model Live Event in London. BINTM Live was a day of pure female fun, a girlie affair full of cocktails, independent fashion and endless beauty products. The level on beauty innovation was high with a vast array of new products and modern exciting tools. The catwalk itself was a warped mix of dance, fashion and of courses the BINTM models (of which the winner Jade looked impeccable). As a girls day out the event was brilliant with highlights including The Wonderbra photobooth, Diet Coke Style Competition, The Miss Selfridge dazzling dresses, the mirrored mannequins, the endless supply of edible samples and the alcoholic ones too. Our bags stuffed with unique tee’s, cupcakes and teeth whitening sets, we went home happy girlies. It was a glamourous care free day which if nothing else exposed us to the new development and technologies in the wider beauty mainstream and was an eye opener to the new marketing methods brands are using.
