So how was it? Santa was very generous this year showering us with a dusting of Jo Malone body wash, a large Selfridges gift card, enough chocolate to last the new year, a wodge of Topshop gift cards, even a little YSL something under our tree! This holiday period we have been wearing a mix of Berry red tops, knitted mono-tone Christmas jumpers, sparkles and statement winter silvers. This Christmas has been quite a very emotional one due to the various dramas going on personally but it was nice to see the holiday season through looking fabulous and dressing the part. Find below a couple of photos rounding up Christmas.

Malibu Snow Globe
We could not believe our emerald eyes when we copped eyes on this perfectly wintery Limited Edition bottle of Malibu. We all know Malibu is one of my drinks of choice to be enjoyed all year round not just in the heat of the summer months. Now there is no better excuse to sip away on the delicious coconut taste sensation while the weather outside is chilly. Available at Selfridges Food Halls and Tesco, this is an absolute party must have for the rest of the festive period. We recently took it to our glitzy Christmas party to a great reception. With a snow flake printed bottle and with coconut flakes we fell in love with the visual snow globe affect of the bottle. It was almost tempting to keep the bottle for display purposes but a girls got to drink right? Malibu seem to have captured X Mas glamour and bottled it. There is everything to love about this Christmas bottle of Malibu, so why not get involved and bring the taste of the Carribean sprinked with snow flakes into your frosted glass.
Watermelon Fox Advice: Be careful to only mix with lemonade or OJ as the coconut shards do have a habit of floating at the surface of your glass, hardly the sophisticated look we all want. Best leave the coke at home with this one.

Binge
Forgive me, for I have binged. On a recent innocent trip to a beauty store, I found my purging on Barry M nail varnishes. Never usually a fan of Mr M, I cannot believe the first Barry M pieces I would buy would be on mass. But how are you meant to resist the festive call of these twinkling glass cubes of party varnish? With the festive season in motion I couldn’t find a reason not to buy all four holiday shades; sparkling emerald, glittering ruby, gorgeous gold and winter silver. I have already experimented with each shade and cannot wait to co ordinate them across the rest of the festive season.

Bare Sparkles
Though we are not one for outfit posting, as its Christmas why not. Below is the outfit I wore to a close friends glitzy Christmas Party at the weekend. Parties like these which are full of fairy lights, bubbly, canapés and tinsel call for sparkly little number. I stayed away from the expected full sequin dress or black lace and went for a feminine fitted top and skirt combo. Off white silk top with bronze sequins, TFNC London; Body conscious nude skirt, Miss Selfridge; Bronze beaded earrings, Forever 21; Nude heels, Unknown. The result was fun, flirty, Christmassy and perfect for the occasion. The pale colour pallet let the true stars of the outfit, the sequins shine. Watch out for more Christmas related posts this week in the run up to the big day itself.

Willing On Christmas
After a lunch out, I drifted into my favourite branch (in my opinion the best of their 50+ stores) of Jack Wills in Marlow recently. It was exciting to see the always visually stimulating store decked out in all its Christmas finery. The festive décor was executed perfectly in keeping with the branding and could not have been more fitting for the brand. Stuffed stockings hung from a plump twinkling garland over the stores Drawing Room fire place. These beautiful garlands graced the stair ways around the three storey house themed store. But what really takes the customers frost laced breath away is the amazing Christmas tree that greets you at the front door. Rich, full and perfectly formed this larger than life tree knows how to make an entrance. With Jack Wills gift wrapped presents under the tree for an added detail. The tree is graced with the usual glowing fairy lights and shiny silver baubles but it also hosts glittered baubles in Jack Wills trademark colours pink and navy, along with pheasant cut out decorations with a wreath around its neck. Jack Wills are majorly missing out by not selling the branded baubles, after enquiring about purchasing one of the branded baubles I was told that they had been inundated with customers asking but the baubles were not for sale. Shame.
Last year, Jack Wills at Christmas didn't meet my expectations and they failed to bedazzle, but this year JW got it right. And while I may not be looking to invest in anything more than their hoodies and Christmas pj’s, the Christmas Morning atmosphere created by the store has raised my opinion. I can’t wait to see what they do next year.

Liberty has Christmas Wrapped
A quick post to keep you chilly foxes warm. Spotted this gorgeous array of Christmas wrapping paper at Liberty’s. The glitzy reds and opal snow white’s make for gorgeously wrapped gifts. I am huge on Christmas wrapping and dedicate a whole Sunday to the fine art of present wrapping before the big day itself. With an extensive collection of ribbons, cellophane, glittered pinecones, tinsel and decorative jewels my wrapping collection looks like a Santa meets Gaga decorating workshop. I love coming up with exciting ways to make display worthy looking presents. It is a way to truly get creative and make each gift that touch more personal. We all know in marketing that it is all about the packaging and why should that be any different at Christmas? We all need more Christmas magic and the art of decorating your gifts brings this. If I didn’t have 20+ rolls of wrapping paper screaming to be used these sheets would defiantly be gracing some of my presents this year.
