This week I am going to keep it short and sweet with my Money Can Buy You Style, literally. I think this outfit is ideal for a no frills day out in the sun running errands. Casual and comfortable yet fashionable. Red is a colour that I like but do not wear nearly enough of. Anyway enjoy the outfit I would be wearing over the weekend if I could.

Holiday Worthy Missoni
On my hunt for holiday goodies online I found these slim wave print flip flops by Missoni for Havaiana. It marries the bond between Missoni's identifiable zig zag/stripes and the Brazilian attitude of Havaiana. The sizzling shoes even come in their own light bag which would probably end up escorting you to the beach with your towel/magazines/sun screen and other beach essentials. Bright, glamourous, exotic, what more could you want from a holiday accessory? I would like these flip flops to escort me to Morocco but with a £60 price tag I may as well invest that cash in some more cost effective fashion forward footing such as a pair of Hunter wellies which would give me 1) more product for my money
2) more use all year round. Still, its nice to imagine yourself wearing these tropical babies on a sun drenched holiday.

Moroccan Dream
I am very excited to announce that I have finally booked a holiday! After months of playing around looking to book a holiday I have finally got one inked in the calendar. I am delighted that I finally have something booked, Summer is a much more enjoyable affair when you have a holiday in the diary. My destination of choice for Summer 2011 is Morocco. I am so intrigued about going to Morocco exploring the countries culture, food, interior and general aesthetics treating myself to a mojitto or two on the way. But don't be fooled, this trip is more cocktails poolside than adventurous day trips out.
Ideally I would like to have my holiday wardrobe sponsored by Matthew Williamson, donning embellished dresses and bikinis in every colour of his tropical rainbow with the most intrecate beading details. I am aware that this will be kept my wild August day dream but I will be thinking of ways to incorporate bright colours into my holiday wardrobe and make sure that I drip in luxe gold accessories. Hopefully I will get a chance to hit the high street in the immediate future ready for my August holiday.

Sea of Orchids
I just had to capture the stretch of Orchids I spotted at The Corinthia Hotel London this week. They took up the space of an entire table and were fresh from the hotels very own on site flower shop. I really do love orchids, I have been quoted saying that when I get my own flat it is going to resemble Elton Johns house, lavished with exotic flowers. The delicate flowers really took my breath away being presented in such a mass way. Definate inspiration point.

July Must Haves
It is fair to say that Watermelon Fox needs to get into the Holiday spirit. With no vacation currently booked but one desperatly wanted I have been trying to shun my desire to blog about possible holiday outfits. Instead I am now working out summer investments which would be perfect for my style with or without a holiday on the cards. With this in mind I have create a list of summer goodies which have caught my eye this July. The must have list mixes a range of afforable accessories that can help style your look this summer. I shall definatly be reviewing my bank balance this week to work out which of these wonders will be making their way into my life this summer.

Money Can Buy You Style
Thank God It's Friday! It is true to say that I could not be happier that it is finally friday. This week has been drama, drama, drama at work and I am definatly ready for some play time. This weekend if I had the money I would be investing in this bedazelling outfit. As you may notice from my posts earlier this week I am having abit of a precious metals moment. The look below is equal part smart as it is casual, with its bronze sequins worn with demin cut offs and flat sandals. The look is perfect for laid back casual cocktails, I definatly deserve a strong mojito after my week and I can't think of a more appropriate outfit to do it in.

All that glitters is gold
This weekend I had a complete jewellery binge. I had half an hour shopping time before lunch with friends and I went on a bit of a gold rush. Personally I am far more of a silver fox, the majority of my jewellery favours a silver feel. But this summer I cannot resist an enticing golden glow. I bought a collection of necklaces ranging from dangerous spiked pieces to a diamond embellished choker (very A/W 2011) with rich red rock, all in shiny gold . I am excited about the glistening gold pieces that will be adorning my neck this summer. Here is a sneak piece of the precious gold pieces I purchased.

Breaking Dishes
I am longing to get my mitts on a set of these designer dishes as seen at one of my favourite London hang outs, The W Hotel. My favourite design by far is the gold sequin legging and chunky platform plate with a lavish gold trim. My my! I think my trouble with these stunning dishes would be that they are potentially too fabulous for food! I think that they would have to be reserved for special occasions or purely decorative purposes. Either way I shall definatly be looking out for a set.

Money Can Buy You Style
This weeks Money Can Buy You Style takes on quite a dark look considering the time of year, but the past week and a half I have found myself immersed in darker colours. I really love the scalloped design trend when done subtly, I love the feminine curves of the edges. Annoyingly I have not been able to find anything I like on the high street which adopts the trend. I am definatly lusting after this Chloe top with these complimentary dark wash J Brands jeans, all finished off with a gorgeous leather Mulberry of course. Personally I think the scalloped edges of the Chloe top are a delicate yet stiking focal point for the outfit which should not be complicated with fussy jewellery and accessories.

Summer Board
I love mood boards, for the last seven plus years I have loved transforming part of my room into a visual art centerpiece. It is a way for me to embrace my creativity and surround myself with what inspires me everday. I have had many moodboards on my walls over the past seven years ranging from rave themes (I shall have to share that with you sometime) to classic black and white themes. At present I have this sunburst summer fashion board. This board brings a lift of colour into my room and brings with it a bright burst of energy. It is a mix of things I have collected from trips to London, shopping visits and various cuttings from Bergdorf Goodman and DVF catologes.

Fill Me With Veuve
I may not have much of a taste for Champagne but I do like the good stuff. Infact Moet and Chandon, Perrier-Jouets and Veuve Clicquot are the only ones I find delicious. With my taste buds specifically perfering Veuve. Not that I would say no to a cheeky glass of Ace of Spades if the opportunity arose, so far it never has! I wanted to share this amazing fridge that I spotted it in the Harrords window. It looks so fabulous, worthy of any British Garden Party. I have an elegant vanity jacket for my Veuve Clicquot but nothing quite like this.

Money Can Buy You Style
This summer seems like one social engagement after the other its like one long toff day dream. This weekend I am off to Royal Henley Regatta which is always a fun day out with the family, sipping Pimms and having a picnic by the river. How quinessentially British. This weeks Money Can Buy You Style is based around what I would wear to Henley Regatta this weekend if I had the money and if I was invited to somewhere grand like Phyllis Court Member Club. The look is nautical elegance. I think I may have to invest in the ballet pumps though as they look beautifully Chanel.
